Cutie Pie!

Just a couple of pictures of our little cutie pie! 

 

We stopped swaddling just after her 5 month birthday, and she just rolled over and went to sleep.  Unfortunately, this did not last long and after a few days, she was waking up multiple times during the night.  This, the girl who slept through the night at a month old.  We are not going to do that!  So, we are back to swaddling and we will give it another shot after her next teeth come in!

She rarely falls asleep in the car anymore, so I had to snap a quick picture!

Soccer

Soccer season is underway!  Ayden hasn't scored a goal yet, but is making progress with chasing down the ball and had great big kicks.  His favorite is to play goalie - he has never let a ball get by him!  We are so lucky to be on a team with two of our neighbor kids - us parents get to hang out together at practices and games!!

Cereal for the Baby!

Elyana got her first taste of oatmeal cereal on October 4th.  Just as we anticipated, she was all over it!  By the next day, she was grabbing the spoon and trying to "help." 

 

Five Months Old!

She looks so old in this picture!  We are just beginning to experiment with the little clips in her hair without a headband.  I love the chubby cheeks! 

What is Elyana up to these days??

Laughing and giggling, especially when he is tickled or if Ayden laughs at something

She's kind of fussy in the evenings, although that may be the sign of another tooth coming in.  Even though her version of fussy is still pretty mellow!

She likes to play with any toy that she can chew on, rolls all over the place, and playing in the jumperoo or exersaucer.

I LOVE watching Ayden read to Elyana - and she loves it too.

As they get older, Violet and Elyana are more and more interested in each other!

Elyana is so enamored with her big brother - and the feeling is mutual! 
He can make her laugh more than anything else (except maybe tickling her). 
It's so fun to watch them together!

 We went to Reese's first birthday party and I managed to not get a single picture of the cute birthday girl!  There was face painting and balloon animals!
 

Elyana even got in on the action - alough her cute little flower was wiped off after only a few minutes before she had a chance to smear it everywhere!

The spiderman face paint looked quite interesting after an hour of running around in the hot sun - it's a good thng I got a picture before it was running down his face!

The "Balloon Guy" made this cute Belle balloon for Elyana - we had to make sure she didn't pop it with her sharp teeth!
