The preschool teacher in me...

...is beginning to come back as Ayden gets older. I got this idea from Family Fun magazine, and tweaked it a little. They had been done for a while, but we just got Daddy to help us hang them up. Hopefully this will help Ayden learn another color besided "blue" (which he says for everything)

We made these collages using clear contact paper and items of each color. Ayden had a ton of fun with this!

And here are just a couple of pics of Ayden trying out the other side of his train table - legos! He pretended they were all trains, of course.

And apparently his little baseball game makes a good seat....silly boy!

Ayden wanted to say his own "Happy Day"

Fall is around the corner...

...and we're getting ready. Ayden helped to put the decorative gourds I bought in a basket for our table. He only tried to take a bite of one :)

We ended our weekend with a little visit from Grandpa and Grandma Jill. Ayden was showing them his new favorite book.

Nemo

Ayden's favorite movie right now is Finding Nemo.

He wants to watch it all the time, but he rarely sits down to watch, he just wants it on in the background while he plays. He has even figured out how to open the DVD player and put the movie in (right side up, too). Here are a couple photos of a rare sight - Ayden sitting still. I think the sippy cup of milk helped.

I took these videos a while ago, but just got around to editing them. Excuse the darkness - a "real" video camera is on my wish list, so in the meantime I have to use my regular camera.


Ayden got this tiger mask at a birthday party and loved wearing it! He and I were having a little fun one morning...

Ayden has loved bubbles for a while, but gets so frustrated that he can't do it himself - well, he finally figured it out!!

And, yes, my child does wear real clothes, it's just a coincedence that these were both taken on weekend mornings when we stay in our jammies half the day :)
